21 Day Fix Approved Spaghetti Squash with Home Made Meat Sauce
Cut the spaghetti squash in half and scoop out the seeds and discard them. Drizzle each half with extra virgin olive oil. Season with sea salt and black pepper. Turn each half upside down and bake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 30-35 mins.
When the squash comes out of the oven, it will shred very easily with a fork like noodles.
To make the meat sauce:
Saute 2 pounds of ground turkey burger in a skillet. Add one large can of tomato sauce (or 2 small cans) and one can of diced tomatoes. Season with Italian seasoning to taste. Let this simmer on medium low for about 30 mins.
I like to add mushrooms and onions to mine..... of course, this is optional! Enjoy!!
